Contracts Advisor

Job Summary

To manage preparation, review and negotiation of commercial and network contracts for ntel, ensuring that the financial and commercial benefit of agreements to the company is maximized while legal and contractual risks are minimized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the preparation and review of contracts to ensure commercial contracts are fit for purpose, mitigate contractual risks and are delivered within the operational budgets.
  • Offer expert insight into commercial contracts across the business.
  • Provide guidance to support the production of any legal and contractual correspondence including terminations, breach of contract notices etc; which may from time to time be required for Legal engagements.
  • Support the contracting process for services delivered by ntel to its customers.
  • Develop contracting systems to ensure robust processes across the organisation.
  • Oversee negotiation of commercial agreements and contracts to ensure all contracts are processed in line with ntels’ policies and business objectives.
  • Negotiating and evolution of contracts to ensure the business does not take excessive risk or contract on inappropriate legal or commercial terms.
  • Provides support for the development and implementation of a Contract Management methodology that aligns to best practice and ensures accurate recording of and access to contract information.

Requirements

  • First degree in Law (LLB, BL). Advanced degree (e.g. Masters in Law) is an advantage.
  • Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association or any relevant body is required.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience including: 
  • 4 years’ proven experience in commercial contract management
  • 4 years’ experience negotiating and drafting commercial/network contracts
  • Good business acumen.
  • Familiarity with telecom environment and contracts will be an added advantage 
  • Excellent knowledge of local regulations and telecom market trends

Head of Property

Job Summary

Lead and oversee all corporate real estate, facilities, and physical asset management

functions for Ntel. Develop and execute strategic property initiatives aligned with telecom business goals—covering office space, network infrastructure sites, leases, maintenance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive real estate strategy aligned with Ntel’s growth and operational plans.
  • Conduct regular asset valuations, benchmarking, and depreciation analyses for ntel‑owned and leased sites.
  • Plan and execute acquisition, relocation, and disposal of property assets in line with business needs.
  • Ensure maintained working environments across offices, data centres, base stations, and support branches.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, including service-level agreements for contractors, security, and utilities.
  • Coordinate renovation, space planning, and workspace allocation initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with vendors: security, cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, and logistics.
  • Lead tendering, negotiating, and contract supervision to meet service standards and delivery timelines.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and property operating expenses.
  • Work closely with Finance to prepare service-charge accounts, capital improvement forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with local property laws, fire, health, safety, and telecommunication regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor property management, maintenance, and facilities teams.
  • Foster inter-departmental collaboration and strong vendor coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Real Estate, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) preferred.
  • Membership of NIESV, ESVARBON or certified facility/project management (PMP / PRINCE2) preferred.
  • 10+ years in real estate/property/facility management; at least 5 years in a strategic or senior leadership role, ideally in telecom/largescale enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of fibre optics, telecom towers, data centre equipment, and power systems.
  • Proficiency in project & facilities management frameworks, energy systems, CAD/blueprint reading, Microsoft Office, and property management software

Procurement Manager

Job Summary

The Procurement Manager will lead and manage the procurement of both local and foreign equipment and materials required for ntel’s fibre leasing, towerco leasing, data centre leasing, and associated power systems. The role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and compliance with internal and regulatory procurement guidelines. This includes vendor management, international sourcing, logistics coordination, and contract negotiation

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for telecom infrastructure equipment, including fibre cables, ODFs, towers, shelters, and data centre hardware.
  • Lead procurement of hybrid power systems, including diesel generators, lithium batteries, solar panels, and inverters.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage local and international vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate importation logistics, customs clearance, and delivery of foreign-sourced items.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, SLAs, and pricing agreements in line with budget targets.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging suppliers for strategic sourcing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to define technical specifications for procurement.
  • Maintain up-to-date procurement records and ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to capital expenditure and operational procurement.

Finance Manager- Reporting and Revenue Control

Job Summary

Overseeing financial reporting, revenue recognition, and internal controls. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, drive revenue accuracy and financial performance, supports audit and ERP migration processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the external reporting process with NATCOM. in the immediate, work with Team to close the outstanding years with the external auditors
  • Prepare management accounts and establish all processes towards migration to a new ERP
  • Ensure all control accounts are reconciled and are in check. During the current review, document and recommend all significant journals to establish control
  • Have oversight over revenue recognition in accordance with revenue standard, IFRS 15, and related accounting standards
  • Margin and Contribution Analysis
  • Act as business partner to the Sales Team and efforts affecting revenue initiative, development and control implementation
  • Establish the framework to enable NATCOM comply with FRC’s guidance on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting
  • Other functions assigned by the Financial Controller
